Adhesives for heavy duty bags 

Across the world, bulk goods that are later available in handy packaging sizes are initially filled into so-called big bags and transported either manually or by machine. Big bags are therefore both convenient and unique. Sacks have been used as a means of transport since time immemorial. Modern sacks and bags, particularly big bags, are technically sophisticated products. Users are generally unaware of the huge loads the glued joints have to bear, nor should they need to be. The important thing is that the bag doesn’t tear – which won’t happen when the right adhesive is used.

KLEIBERIT has a range of PUR hotmelts and hotmelt adhesives for use in the packaging industry, e.g. for bonding polyolefin films in big bag manufacturing and other applications. The adhesives have the German and European certificates of conformity for contact with food and can be used on all industry standard machines and systems.
